We might think of a collection as a stationary asset, a fixed presence in time and space, but in actual fact the works and the people involved in it are always active, always in motion.

MASI Lugano, in collaboration with Cultura in movimento, has produced a series of videos to illustrate the life cycle of art works, exploring their restoration processes, and their journeys to national and international exhibitions when they are loaned, and also showing how the Collection itself grows and develops as new acquisitions join it. The MASI collection is a collection on the move.
